Sahiba / Dayana Rivera International Kundalini Yoga Teacher

Sahiba (Dayana Rivera) is an international Kundalini Yoga teacher with over 21 years of experience, sharing the practice across the Americas, Europe, and Asia. Her work spans a wide range of environments from yoga studios and universities to cultural institutions, corporations, museums, public spaces, and correctional facilities bringing Kundalini Yoga into diverse educational and social contexts.

She holds a Master’s Degree in Art Education for Social and Cultural Institutions, along with a certification in Art as Therapy from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and a degree in Visual Arts. Her interdisciplinary background shapes a teaching approach that integrates creativity, embodiment, and therapeutic awareness.

Sahiba is a KRI-certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher (Levels I & II) and a trainer in Science of Mind and Humanology for Leadership and Success (Anter Vidya, Italy). Her main mentor is Sat Dharam Kaur, founder of the Saibhang Institute.

Her training also includes:

  • Sat Nam Rasayan (with Gurudev Singh)
  • Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (with Radika)
  • Applied Polyvagal Theory in Therapeutic Yoga for Trauma Recovery (with Arielle Schwartz)
  • Advanced Pranayama (with Leslie Kaminoff)

Originally from Ecuador and currently based in Madrid, Sahiba offers trauma-informed Kundalini Yoga sessions from a compassionate and integrative perspective. She teaches both online and in person at SoHam Shala Studio, and provides mentoring for Kundalini Yoga teachers.

She is currently undertaking the Compassionate Inquiry Professional Training and the Master Practitioner Program in Holistic Art Therapy, while also becoming part of the teaching team of the Beyond Addiction Program.

Sahiba’s work carries a unique blend of depth, creativity, and presence—bridging body, mind, and expression in a way that invites both healing and exploration.
